Where we will be filming

 This is where most of the outside filming will take place. We will be using artificial lighting because the filming will take place at night.  

  This is the room where most of the 'daning' shots will take place. We will also set up the Dj and have the party people in this room.

Schedule list

What needs to be done before and during the filming process.

1. hire camera and tripod from library to film with.
2. get images of chloe and joe (female and male artists in band) - for twitter& cd cover.
3. Finalise a date for filming and make sure everyone can make it.
4. get chloe's single shots on plain background (lip syncing)
5. get Joe's single dj shots on plain background
6. (Buy props if necessary)
7. collect all equipment such as lights, camera's and tripods in order to film.
8. gather appropriate props for party scenes
9. get everyone in the location and film party and outside scenes at night
10. edit and post progression as we go along.

This song was originally by 'Yeah yeah yeah's' and was remixed for the film 'Project X'. Although this song does not have a video, we think the song could work well with our ideas of a 'party' featuring young people. The only concern we have with our song choices is whether they are too mainstream/well known.

Here there are some examples of bands/Artists that would match what we are trying to create. Such as The Ting Tings who are a duo (one female one male) band. We like the idea of having a 'party' tune that would match the audience of 16-30 year olds we are aiming the video at. Some of these video's have an interesting story such as the SBTRKT track that has given us a few ideas.

Inspiration

Even though this video is actually a trailer for a film called 'project x' we really like the youthful, party theme of this video. It would fall into the illustration genre, although it doesn’t really have much of a narrative story to it. We want our video to attract young people therefore this video is ideal because it gives an insight into the lives of teenagers and the over-exaggerated view of the parties and activities the get up to.
